THESSOLANIKI INTERNATIONAL (TIF), GREECE –2019
Thessaloniki International Fair –TIF , is an annual international exhibition event held in , Greece’s second-largest city. It has been held in the first week of September since 1926, and its opening is traditionally marked by a series of events (economic, international business & cultural) hosted by HELEXPO. THE NEW INDIA was chosen as the honored country for the 84TH Fair, opened on 7 September 2019 and Germany will be the honored country for the 85th TIF in 2019.
The Federation of Industries of Greece (SVE) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Thessaloniki (TCCI), in co-operation with the Confederation of Indian Enterprises (CII), Entrepreneurs of different countries had business meetings with Greek businessmen & participating in the 84th TIF.
The Jute Fibers BD full team ( MD- Deloar Hossain, CEO- Md Rafi Sarjil, Director- Mehedi Hasan, Manager_ Kabir Hosen) were participating in this Trade Fair with the full help of BANGLADESH EMBASSY OF ATHENS, GREECE. We are very much thankful to Mr Jashim Uddin, Honorable Ambassador of Athens, Greece, 1st political secretary Mr Khaled & other all officials. The Jute Fibers BD” highly grateful for excellent co-operation and hospitality at TIF 84 in Thessaloniki, Greece. We feel proud of them to see their patriotism .
During TIF , Greek President and the delegation level talks, President Kovind emphasized the age-old civilization ties among all participants nations. The President said that Greece shared values of democracy, rule of law and multi-cultural ethos, and these have added depth to our bilateral and multilateral engagements. The President expressed that all businessman were keen to deepen the ongoing co-operation with Greece especially in political and economic fields.
President Kovind highlighted commitment to promote trade and investment engagement wit Greek business. He stated that bilateral trade between the different countries of US dollar 900 million was below potential and more efforts must be made to expand and diversify trade with Greece..
